Isabel spent a decade in high-end corporate design, designing childrenswear for Marc Jacobs in New York and Burberry in London before becoming a mother and starting Hedgehog Belly. Her corporate experience, life in different cities and escapades with her spunky 10 year old, give her the first hand experience and inspiration she draws upon to create the Hedgehog Belly collection.

Hedgehog Belly has grown a lot over the three years since it's conception - starting as all being made in a home studio to  production with several contract sewists and small sample rooms in MA. Isabel is committed to being a part of the slow clothing movement - incorporating ethical production, and keeping manufacturing as local as possible.
